Earth Hour

Project screenshot

We built this site for WWF to support Earth Hour 2008, using a Ruby on Rails backend. The site has a strong social aspect, with people able to invite friends to grow their "tree", as well as submitting content from Flickr & Youtube. The site was extremely popular, with over 4 million unique visitors a day.
